for SATB chorus, a cappella
Notes
Psalm 130: For with the LORD Is Kindness is a short work for SATB chorus in English. It was written for the pilgrimage to Italy of the combined church choirs of St Joan of Arc (Toledo) and St Aloysius (Bowling Green). Because the pilgrimage took place during Lent in 2008, the directors requested a setting of one of the typical Lenten psalms. This piece has challenging moments, but should be approachable for most moderate church choirs after several rehearsals.
