I’ve written a number of works in the last few years, most of which are listed on this page. For those works you may remember hearing but don’t see on this page, feel free to contact me to include them, but chances are good I’m suggesting you forget the works instead (though this in no way holds for anything written after 2004, so if a newer work is missing, let me know ASAP!). As individual pages for each piece are created, they will be added and linked to this page, so you can use this as your source for information on all my compositions and musical collaborations.

In Progress

  • The Mass for the Order of St Benedict (2007-). A SSAATTBB a cappella setting of the Latin Mass consisting of at least the Kyrie, Gloria, Credo, Sanctus and Agnus Dei.
  • The Farthest Shore (2004-) for marimba/vibraphone and percussion trio.
  • More movements for cello and marimba to possibly accompany Sunset.
  • Various steel drum arrangements.
  • Libretto for an opera to be set to music by Noah D. Taylor.

Choral

  • Psalm 130: For with the LORD Is Kindness (2007) for SATB choir, a cappella.
  • The Mass for a Lonely Heart (2007) for SATB choir, guitar and keyboard. Settings of the Kyrie, Gloria, Alleluia (and Lenten Proclamation), Mystery of Faith, Great Amen and Lamb of God in English.
  • Shout Joyfully (2007) for one-part chorus and keyboard.
  • Psalm 86 (2007) for SSAATTBB chorus, a cappella.
  • Out of the Darkness (2004) for eight voices (SSAATTBB) and piano, an homage to Luciano Berio.
  • Cantate Domino (2003) for SATB chorus, a cappella.

  • Seven Songs of Longing (2007) for tenor, a cappella. Seven small pieces (”Spring,” “Streams,” “Summer,” “Leaves,” “Autumn,” “Twilight,” “Winter”) with texts by the composer.
  • Five Songs of Love (2006) for mezzo-soprano or tenor and 5-octave marimba. Five small pieces (”I Would Live in Your Love,” “The Tree of Song,” “To-night,” “Dew,” “Ebb Tide”) with texts taken from poems by Sara Teasdale.
  • Magnificat (2006) for mezzo-soprano and chamber ensemble (fl, cl, bsn, tpt, tbn, vln, vla, vcl, db, 2 perc [vibes, 2-8ve crot, bd, sd, susp. cym., bows])
